 The PMI Coastal Bend Chapter is providing multiple $1,000 academic scholarships.
The PMI Coastal Bend Chapter Scholarship is not only an excellent way to help a student realize their dreams through education, but it is also an opportunity for the chapter and its members to engage local academic institutions and to help promote the chapter’s work as well as the project management profession.
Please help spread the word about this new scholarship opportunity. Below please find additional information:
Applications are due by May 1st. In order to be considered eligible for a scholarship, applicants
must be a resident of the PMI Coastal Bend area, and enrolled in or accepted as a full time student
in an accredited academic degree program in project management or a related field benefiting
from project management (Accounting, Engineering, Construction Management, Information
Systems, etc.) .:

The Project Management Institute Coastal Bend Chapter, is sponsoring an event on Tuesday, April 24, 2012 Silverado BBQ Restaurant, 4522 Weber at McArdle, Corpus Christi, TX.
"PMBOK in Practice " 11:30 am - 1:00 pm. No cover charge. Lunch expense is Dutch treat.
PMBOK in Practice will be a round table discussion featuring presentations and panelists from Financial, Information Technology and Government sectors. The presentations will concentrate on aspects of the PMBOK Guide and how they are used in Real World scenarios. The following Panelists will lead a 15 - 20 minute discussion on a particular knowledge area:
